Faceless and Star Wars Lego

The other night I was building up some of my star wars Lego when I couldn’t help but notice the fact that the clone troopers and Jango Fett Lego figurines, had no faces. They were just black heads. These were released in the Lego sets prior to the Clone Wars animated series whose Lego figurines have faces. I assume this is to do with the fact that in the animated series, it is predominately about the clones and they are shown to have various personalities. So does this mean that before this, the clone troopers were seen to be faceless and not worthy of the time to detail the figurines? I am reluctant to accuse Lego of being racially insensitive but it is bizarre to only give the clones faces once they had their own series. It is also interesting when comparing the clone wars animated Lego figurines to the movie ones. The movie ones heads are just black (no face), but the animated ones are brown with faces. Lego clearly did not seem willing to care that the clones are products of Jango Fett who is played by Maori actor Temuera Morrison.
